Faculty Strategic Objectives
Based upon the vision and mission of the faculty as well as the university strategy and the recent international trends, Faculty of Education, Mansoura University, endeavors to fulfill the following objectives:
• Promoting the preparation of teachers through high quality programs in the different majors of general education from kindergartens to secondary schools
• Coping with the technological advances and employing them in all fields of teacher preparation through enhancing electronic education, educational networks, virtual laboratories and test items bank
• Developing the abilities of staff members and academic and administrative leaderships and encouraging them to acquire better technological and technical skills as well as the mastery of foreign languages for distinguished performance levels which will be reflected on the graduate’s level
• Developing graduate studies and conducting educational research which produce up-to-date educational knowledge, and implementing them for solving the authentic issues of education in particular and the educational system in general
• Reinforcing the concept of community participation and signing agreements and protocols for the cooperation between the faculty and the institutions of the private sector civil community for the purpose of varying funding sources and helping faculty alumni to find relevant jobs
• Developing an efficient administrative body which is able to cope with the information age and quality standards
• Ensuring the consistency of internal monitoring and continuous self-evaluation, studying the available technical resources, and identifying the required needs to ensure a better quality of performance in all areas (education – research – community service) in order to gain accreditation

First Aim:
Development of teaching and learning system and establishment of a better educational environment

Strategic objectives:
• To create an educational atmosphere which supports teaching and learning processes
• To develop teaching and learning techniques
• To enhance students' performance to achieve excellence
• To develop the skills of teaching staff
• To provide academic, physical, and medical support for learners
• To develop graduates follow-up policy and to benefit from its results in the development of academic programs
Second Aim:
To make a quantum leap in the preparation of teachers preparation programs so as to keep pace with the requirements of the labor market as well as with contemporary variables

Strategic objectives:
• To develop plans and programs for the first university degree in the light of standard academic criteria
• To enhance teacher preparation programs in accordance with credit hours system
• To offer new distinctive educational programs
• To develop student-teacher training programs (practical teaching) for within the faculty and at schools
• To review admission requirements of undergraduate students

Third Aim:
Development of graduate studies and scientific research system in the light of the orientations of international competition and the upgrading of their qualitative and quantitative outputs

Strategic objectives:
• To resume the modernization and development of graduate programs in accordance with credit hour system
• To identify internal examination axes
• To increase the number of Egyptian as well as international students at the graduate studies programs and to propagate their efficacy
• To develop joint educational programs with Arab and regional institutions
• To develop graduates follow-up policy and to benefit from its results in the development of graduate studies programs
• To develop joint research projects with Arab and regional institutions
• To encourage and support researchers by whatever means
• To guarantee an environment supportive of scientific research
• To enhance the techniques of measuring the efficiency of applied research

Fourth Aim:
The development of community services system and solving societal problems

Strategic objectives:
• To expand the role of faculty in the area of community services, locally and regionally
• To develop the services offered by the faculty, and to raise the level of their quality
• To increase the effectiveness of the role of specialized units in community service and environment development
• To market the services offered by the Faculty of Education

Fifth Aim: The development of students' assessment system to reflect recent trends in assessment

Strategic objectives:
• To construction a new policy for assessment which depends on the recent trends in this field
• To develop the skills of teaching staff in order to implement the formative assessment system
• To develop examinations control rooms to be electronically operated

Sixth Aim: The development of administrative capacity and the development of self-access resources in order to achieve faculty vision and mission

Strategic objectives:
• To develop physical infrastructure
• To develop technological infrastructure
• To enhance organizational structure
• To provide required manpower
• To enhance human development
• To develop administrative and financial performance

Seventh Aim:
The implementation of quality and assurance system

Strategic objectives:
• To develop the internal quality assurance system
• To identify the axes of internal follow-up
• To consolidate the philosophy of quality and performance development with reference to the faculty regulations
• To be qualified by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Education
