· Preparing the faculty graduate studies & research plan in accordance with the departments' and specialized committees' suggestions

· Supervising the implementation of these plans in the faculty's different departments

· Supervising the faculty research publication affairs and executing the defined strategy in this respect

· Recommending and organizing conferences and seminars as well as taking over affairs of external cultural relations

· Defining and arranging what is to be submitted to the faculty annual academic research

· Directing the affairs of libraries and making a proposition of the required books, references, and periodicals

· Supervising the faculty Graduate Studies & Research Committee

· Supervising the faculty External Cultural Affairs Committee

· Supervising the faculty Libraries Committee

· Undertaking whatever tasks authorized by the dean
