Department of Educational Psychology

 Mission of the Department:

Qualifying the high schools graduates, both educationally and emotionally, so that they would become teachers specialized in different academic fields.
Qualifying the non-educational faculties, both emotionally and educationally, so that they would be able to practice the profession of teaching if they wanted to.
Emotionally qualifying the high school graduates who have joined the Psychology section so that they would become Psychology teachers in High School and other similar certificates.
Qualifying the graduates of the faculty of education and the two-year and the one-year general diploma so that they would be able to become specialized teachers in different fields teaching students with special auditory, visual, kinesthetic, and mental needs. This is to be done by implementing the professional diploma in education, special education section.
Qualifying the graduates of the faculty of education and the two-year and the one-year general diploma so that they would be able to become efficient psychological school counselor. This is to be done by implementing the professional diploma in education, psychological school counseling section.
Emotionally qualifying the graduates of the different professional diplomas in the special diploma in the fields of educational psychology and mental health.
Conducting the theoretical and applied psychological studies in the fields of educational psychology and mental health through the Masters and Doctoral theses and the researches done by the staff members in the faculty.
