The Supreme Council of Culture marks the following eligibility criteria for candidates applying for State Awards (Nile, Appreciation, and Excellence) as crucial. Available areas are arts and social sciences (2016). These criteria include:

• Endorsement letter approved by the faculty showing reasons for nomination
• A soft copy of biographical note about the applicant (not more than 10 pages)
• Selected works by the candidates applying for Appreciation and Excellence Prizes (not more than 5 works)
• A request for application signed by the applicant in addition to a photocopy of the applicant’s national ID
Applications received after December 10, 2015 will not be accepted. For further details, do not hesitate to consult the General Administration for Researches.
