The president and vice president of Mansoura University, Prof. Mohammed Alquinawy and Prof. Ashraf Abdelbaset, have hosted Prof. John McGovern- the British Chancellor for Higher Education and Ms. Sahar Khamees – the Head of the Educational Programs at the British Council in cairo to discuss the means and procedures of the internationalization and governance of higher education.

Among the attendants were Prof. Alsaeed Abdelhady, the dean of the faculty of Medicine; Prof. Asmaa, the dean of the faculty of Education; Prof. Nahed alanany, the dean of the faculty of pharmacy; Prof. Azza Ismail , the dean of the faculty of Science; Prof. Hossam Mustafa, the supervisor of the administration of the emigrants ; Dr. Mohammed Salah, the manager of the international relations office.

The meeting included a brief demonstration by Prof. Ashraf about Mansoura University and the special programs it provides, the accredited faculties, the services, the medical and research centers, the university electronic systems, the services and activities provided by the university for both the Egyptian and emigrant students, the agreements with different local and international universities, some of the awards granted to some of the university staff members and the advanced ranking of the university...more details
